Lieutenant General Frank G. Klotz’ distinguished Air Force career spanned 37 years. During that time, he was Chief of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Plans Branch for the United States mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, served as Director of Nuclear Policy and Arms Control for the National Security Council, was the Defense Attaché to the American Embassy in Moscow, and held commands at all levels. In August 2009, Lieutenant General Klotz became the first commander of Air Force Global Strike Command.
